This is an wonderful transom piece, very rare to find such intricate patterns and colors in the glass. The center background is a white slag glass which lets in light but is not see through. The medallion type center is blue and gold slag glass, up to a green floral design. In the center are two side designs with swags of tulips hanging down. Across the border are 5 boxes on top and 4 on the bottom with floral corners and the rest with diamond designs. The outer border has long lines with wonderful slag glass and intricate green slag glass diamond shapes, then a thin royal purple border on each side.
